I create and embody stories that center queer voices, complicated identities, and people who refuse to fit neatly into the boxes built for them. I’m especially drawn to work about belonging, belief, desire, and the messy contradictions that make us human.

Who are they?
The Short Version
JJ spent the 90s on a horse farm in West Tennessee while learning about the Holy Ghost in a Pentecostal church. Thirty years and several wildly different chapters later, they’re still telling stories about identity, belief, belonging, and the strange ways people become themselves. Theatre has saved their life more than once, so naturally, they decided to make a career of it.
